This year was another amazing one with some super long trips, beautiful anchorages, and fun adventures!

Happy new year! Awesome stories and great post! We’ve made the decision in the last few weeks to send our boat to the PNW over next winter, so now you’re just making me more excited about exploring the NW for an entire 6-ish month period at a time instead of the weekending + one-short-summer-vacation we used to do in the days before starlink. Looking forward to hopefully meeting up with you at some point!

Thanks for the very descriptive trip reports. I did not know about Eucott Bay Hot Springs. I hope to check it out sometime. Last Aug/Sept I crewed on a sailboat to/from and around Haida Gwaii. Highly recommended. It is as spectacular as everyone says, on many levels. I look forward to your posts as always.

Wow, clearly you had a great year of cruising! We spent the bulk of the year lazily exploring the West coast of Vancouver Island, and really enjoyed it. Thanks for the tips on so many new places (to us) to explore further North.

Starlink has definitely allowed for longer cruising times for many folks. Looking forward to meeting at some point!
I have been years ago, but would love to go back! Sounds like you had a great trip! I spend a lot of time in Cap Sante as well - one of my top places in the winter to provision.
I almost turned left when I got to Cape Caution and went down the West side of Vancouver Island with some friends, but decided to turn right instead! Glad you had a great time - I’ve always wanted to explore the West Side, and never have. Maybe next year!
